AirTran pilots voted overwhelmingly to allow their union leaders to call a strike if talks with the airline do not progress. The issue—unsurprisingly—is wages. Meanwhile, pilots at Spirit Airlines have also threatened a strike in the next 30 days. The issue at Spirit is employee benefits.
